Just wanted to apologise for my lack of presence on Tumblr of late. I do have a couple of valid excuses though -
a) I’m going through a horrible medication regime change atm and it’s been really difficult both physically and mentally, and b) I’m just getting over a delightful case of Pneumonia - granted it is just ‘Walking Pneumonia’ but anyone with complex medical issues (especially those like me who are also immunocompromised) will know that even ‘mild’ conditions cause havoc in our ‘interesting’ bodies.
I’m slowly getting back on my feet (though the medication changes will take months to complete I’m over the worst hurdle.„I hope! ) and so I hope to get back into posting regularly and sharing medical based bumf with you lovely lot!

OP- Your Moral Support Kittehs are very cute, my very own Moral Support Kitteh tends to fall asleep on or next to me when I need her too - I think they offer help by osmosis ;) Btw if you do find a way to really stick it to Mr Trigeminal Nerve, please let me know your secret as I have an ongoing dispute with him on a daily basis - he’s a nasty little fucker when agitated….and he gets pissy on a regular basis with me >:( Good luck in your exam, Slinky

As an aside - I recently bought myself some of those Genie bras, and they are absolutely wonderful.

Especially when one deals with multiple illnesses, pain can really wear on a person. Knowing how to dress to help ease that pain is a huge help.

I do wear these some days but typically, as with all bras, they hug the two vertebrae from which my severe neuropathic pain stems from and can trigger an attack :( Not being able to wear a bra all the time is not fun when you have a set of 36 DD/Es but is preferable to being in excruciating pain and having to break out the morphine and Valium! I’m sure I’m gonna end up with nipples round my knees when I’m an oap lol, but living with the sheer multitude of issues I have I can only look so far into the future, I think many of you can empathize with this way of seeing the world. I would highly recommend for anyone without my specific thoracic spine issues to try these bras, and others like them, though be warned I have been stuck during the taking off process more than once ;) I wish I’d had these when I had my breast lumpectomy, would’ve made life a bit more comfortable. If you want to try these bras do check out discount sites such as Groupon, DiscountVouchers etc for some great deals on some good names, also if you’re in the UK I think good old JML do their own version too :-) Slinky x
